Thank got I unplugged my batteryIn time to save my car and motorLasted about 7 seconds long enough for me to floor the rc car and boom DONE.I plugged it in for the first time and it set on fireThe only reason this ESC fails is the fact that the motor wires are reversed. I bought 2 of these because they were cheap ($16 in my case). The first one smoked as soon as I plugged it in to a battery. Then I noticed the motor wires were reversed instead of blue, yellow, orange for A, B, C it was wired Orange, Yellow, Blue. I wired up A to A, B to B etc and it ran great. The factory in China must have produced a million of these things before the mistake was discovered. Check out the picture of the wire attachment for yourself.
