Our Hydrastar Controller Adapter Module (CAM) circumvents the lack of technology in some brake controllers to allow communication with the tow vehicle, resulting in safe and proper braking function. With the 'CAM' installed, Hydrastar Brake Actuators are compatible with all tow vehicle brake controllers.

I installed EoH brakes on my trailer and it didn’t work with my old Ford van. This CAM unit solved the problem. I have since used the assembly with:1992 Ford Van E150.2021 Ford F-150 truck.2010 Toyota Tacoma truck.2015 Dodge RAM truck.Worked perfectly every time. I just bought a different boat and plan to modify that trailer from surge brakes to EoH and will definitely install this CAM unit on it again.
